To help meet the surge in demand for swabs and diagnostic testing supplies, Puritan will be opening a new manufacturing facility in Orlinda, Tennessee. This will allow us to accelerate production of our products and diversify geographically, accommodating a recent request by the federal government to expand our national footprint.

This new factory will be our fourth production facility. We’re excited about the expansion, which will include welcoming 625 new employees to the Puritan family. While we will always be a Maine-based company, we’re incredibly proud of the “can do” spirit that has allowed us to grow so much in the past year, as we’ve responded to the demand for COVID-19 testing swabs.

This latest expansion and additional production capabilities will enable us to continue supplying the United States and the world with the highest quality swabs.
